Portnoy, known for his work with Dream Theater, Avenged Sevenfold, Adrenaline Mob, and The Winery Dogs, will take over for A.J. Per, who died of an alleged heart attack in March.
Twisted Sister will headline “A Concert To Honor AJ Pero” on June 13 at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey.
Tickets, priced at $45 each, go on sale April 8.
Pero died was 55.
